Cancellation & Refund Policy

This policy applies to cancellations of design and construction projects booked with Buildvix Venture LLP. If your signed construction agreement has different cancellation terms, the agreement prevails.

Consultations, site visits and estimates before booking are free. You can walk away at any time before paying the booking amount, with nothing to pay.

• Cancel within [7] days of paying the booking amount, before any design work starts: [full refund].
• Cancel after design work has started but before the agreement is signed: refund of the booking amount minus [₹____ / the cost of design work completed, such as surveys, floor plans and 3D elevations].
• Cancel after the construction agreement is signed but before work starts on site: refund minus design costs, approval fees already paid on your behalf and [an administration charge of __%].

If you cancel once work has started on site, you pay for:

• All work completed up to the date of cancellation, valued as per the agreement.
• Materials ordered or delivered for your project that cannot be returned.
• Government fees and third-party charges already paid on your behalf.
• [A cancellation charge of __% of the remaining contract value.]

Any amount you have paid above this is refunded. If the total due is more than you have paid, you pay the balance.

We may cancel a project if the plot has title or approval problems that cannot be resolved, if payments are overdue by more than [60] days, or if the site becomes unsafe to work on. If we cancel for reasons that are not your fault, we refund all amounts paid for work not yet done.

Changing your design, package or specifications is handled as a change request under your agreement, with a revised quote for your approval. It is not treated as a cancellation.

Approved refunds are paid within [15] working days of the cancellation being confirmed in writing, by bank transfer to the account the original payment came from. We will share a written statement showing how the refund was calculated.

Send your cancellation request in writing to prathamesh@buildvix.com, with your name, project ID and reason for cancelling. Your cancellation date is the date we receive your written request. We will acknowledge it within [2] working days.
